I have had some fantastic experiences with the Holy Sprit before. Just that feeling of Gods presence that personally overwhelms me. I’m a cryer and this week I have cried everyday, one day (Tuesday), I cried all day long! Not a painful or hurting cry but a cry of serenity and peace that I can’t control. I really can’t even understand it.
When the Spirit of God pours out on me, it is God that is in control! I am so grateful for the mercy and grace that I/We have received through the blood of Jesus Christ. Always remember that Gods grace is not earned but is actually something that we haven’t earned. His mercy and grace are out of our control. The only thing we can do is believe and receive!
Thank you Lord for loving us so much that we can receive the gift of peace that Jesus spoke of in John 14:27: “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
